The Spanish language steampunk magazine El Investigador is keeping up a tight and regular publication schedule. Their tenth edition is released this month and it’s very much dedicated to the do-it-yourself part of the movement.
The magazine’s regular “Retrofuturism” column wonders whether DIY is the “soul of steampunk,” there’s an article about do-it-yourself by an Ukrainian artist and one from Chile. Very international of them!
In the spirit of the holidays, El Investigador also presents a Christmas catalog of dieselpunk and steampunk gifts and memorabilia. That should provide ample inspiration for readers who are looking for genre appropriate gifts and delights.
