I'm a skeptic, as a rule, but I'm finding a book I'm reading at the moment quite interesting. The book is called Hitler's Suppressed and Still-Secret Weapons, Science and Technology by Henry Stevens. I brought it as an aid for inspiration when writing project work concerning Nazi weapons and such like, but it's really quite interesting stuff.
Sythetic blood, super metals, electric guns, death rays, all that usual stuff.
Incidentilly, also saw Outpost recently, far-fetched but quite entertaining, if only to see Ray 'Titus' Stevenson giving undead SS types a shoeing.

I never read that book I'm afraid, but from the sounds of it, you might also enjoy Hitler's Terror Weapons by Geoffrey-Michael Hall. I actually corresponded with the author for a while, and the "Foo Fighters" article in my History section is largely written by him.
I'm mostly interested in the Nazi atom bomb project though, and death rays and stuff sounds a little too out of this world for my tastes, but I agree that it has a perfect place in dieselpunk fiction.

It's allways been jet aircraft that tickled my Nazi interest, that and Super soldier projects like the combat drugs and the like. lasers aren't really my thing either.

There was actually a game called Ubersoldier a while ago. Never played it, and the reviews said it was awful, but it isn't the only video game that had Nazi "super soldiers". Return to Castle Wolfenstein comes to mind (a video game I actually did play).

There's also Bloodrayne. Played a level and was deeply unimpressed.

Deathrays are so "Tesla theories".
It reminds me of the entire rumour that Tesla had invented one and the KGB nicked it after his death.

Was it? I heard it was the KGB that stole that particular invention of his.
Although I did hear that both agencies robbed Tesla tower quite thoroughly.

I think Tesla and his stuff was one of the biggest conspiracy theories in and around new york in those times. I have friends that stayed in the hotel where he lived and died btw. Dan took a pic of the plaque outside of his old room for me.
