The latest installment in Electronic Arts’ succesful Command & Conquer series is currently under development.
Like its predecessors, Red Alert 3 will be set in an alternate timeline where Adolf Hitler never rose to power, thus the Soviet Union is engaged in ongoing conflict with the West and a superpower in the East, the Empire of the Rising Sun, apparently inspired by Imperial Japan. In the game, World War III is being fought with exotic weaponry including Tesla Coils, floating fortresses, and giant Soviet Kirov airships!

We reported on the upcoming installment in Electronic Arts’ popular Command & Conquer series back in March. Since, a lot has changed and been made available.
The game’s Official Website has been augmented with further information about the plot and setting and weapons of Red Alert 3, several trailers have been released, and of course there is lots of concept art, of which this depiction of a Soviet “Tesla Trooper”—added to our WAR ROOM—is but one of many ravishing artworks!

On the other hand the different C&C games in general and Red Alert in particular has always been relativly campy. Though I must admit that the style looks a bit too cheery.

There's a lot of new stuff at the Official Red Alert 3 website. Mostly information about ingame units has been added, supplemented with nice concept art, such as this "propaganda poster":
According to the site, "conscripts are the Soviet Union's foot soldiers. Shown here is a propaganda piece showing an uncharacteristically brave, determined, confident, and competent-looking example."

Have to say I don't like the art direction as much with this one, though the Soviets might have some blinders. The Allies are way too SF and the Japanese Mecha faction- bleurgh.
Nonetheless: Keplaki, live cut scenes and gameplay can hopefully redeem this and make it as awesome as the first two.

Cover art has been released,
along with new game information and concept art.

An Allied aircraft carrier. Love the design on that one! & And a concept art for a "Century Bomber". For the game, however, the bomber design has been altered somewhat, making it more sleek, but a less original design.
More is available at the Official Website.

That carrier looks like it'd flood every time it rains

We have reported on the upcoming installment in Electronic Arts’ Command & Conquer series before, and since, much more material has been made available, including numerous concept arts and unit data, along with information and photographs about and of the game’s cast.
This depiction was recently added to the Official Website for Red Alert 3; an “Imperial Warrior” of Japan, which is known as the “Empire of the Rising Sun” in the alternate history of the game.
