In the days of Web 1.0 there existed the practice of partnering websites; supposed to be more than a link exchange, a “partner” website was one maintained by a friend or an acquaintance of the webmaster. Nowadays, blogrolls and automated link exchanges have largely replaced this phenomena but on this page are listed current and former partners of the different websites that are hosted under this domain. Not all of these places are updated any more; some are even off-line altogether. Their banners are kept here nevertheless as testimonies to the skill of the webmasters and as a sign of gratitude for the help and support that they provided for The Gatehouse, Forgotten Trek or projects that were affiliated with this domain but are no longer active today. —N. Ottens JDRoger.comThe former portal of my friend J.D. J.D. later blogged at the Acta Diurna and contributed to the Atlantic Sentinel.
